Eva Procházková is an attorney at law at Weinhold Legal who focuses primarily on labour law and social security law.
Eva joined the law office Weinhold Legal in 2007. In the past, she worked as an external teacher at the Department of Labour Law and Social Security Law of the Law Faculty of Charles University. Previously, Eva worked at the Czech Social Security Administration, the Ministry of Finance and in advocacy where she engaged in labour law, contractual relationships and public tenders. She has significant experience in particular in the field of labour law, employee benefits, contractual set-up of relations between governing Institutions of companies, pre-investment due diligence, health insurance, social security and consumer protection.
Eva is a founding member of the Czech Employment Lawyers Association, an association of attorneys specialising in employment law, and a member of the Employment Law Section of the Czech Bar Association. For several years Eva has been ranked among the recommended attorneys in the field of labour Eva is a member of the Association for Labour Law and Social Security and writes in the press on various labour law and social security topics. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague (Mgr. degree – 2002) and continued with post gradual doctoral studies there. During her studies, she spent one year at Juristische Fakultät Technische Universität Dresden.
Eva is ranked by Chambers Europe as a notable practitioner in the area of Employment. She is also recommended by Legal 500 as the Next Generation Partner in the area of Employment. Since 2018 Eva is recognised as an expert in the area of Labour and Employment and Law by Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer review publication in the legal profession.
Eva is the co-author of the 1st edition of the online commentary Agency Employment (Employment Act) 2023 published by C.H.Beck, also a contributor to the books “Redundancy Law in Europe” and “Age Discrimination in Europe” published by Kluwer Law International in 2008 and 2009 in the edition of the International Employment Law Series. Additionally, she is published regularly in the Czech specialist press and is engaged in lecturing activities.
Apart from her native Czech, Eva is fluent in English.
